GENERAL

THE GENERAL PROFICIENCY AWARD
Applicable to all grade levels. This award is given to students achieving a minimum grade in every subject based upon the results of the previous June report. Certificates for Year 1, Year 2, Foundation Year and IB1 are awarded on Prize Day. General Proficiency Scholars who are members of the Leaving Class have their names inscribed in Laidlaw Hall.

THE ACADEMIC TIE
This award is given to students achieving a minimum average based upon the results of the previous June report. The minimum average is determined by the top 5% in each grade. Members of the Leaving Class who qualify for the first time, based on their January IB2 results, are awarded the Academic Tie in February.
