Common Ties Mentorship

The Common Ties Mentorship Program looks forward to an exciting year of growth and continued success with our industry events.

The Common Ties program will see a change in leadership this fall as chair Evan Thompson ‘73 hangs up his hat and transitions responsibilities to Dr. Arvin Hariri ‘98. Thompson was an integral part of seeing the program through its 10-year anniversary celebrations in 2014. Hariri has been a member of the committee since the fall of 2012 and was influential in re-establishing networking events for the medical community. Hariri will work closely with appointed vice-chair Michael Carmichael ’97 during his term of two years.

One of the biggest changes the program will see very shortly is the launch of a new mentor/mentee online platform. UCC went through a rigorous process to select a new platform and we're excited to announce that the Common Ties database will sit with Firsthand. Mentors and mentees had their first opportunity to register with the new platform on Sept. 8. An invitation will be sent directly to your inbox. Watch for it.
