UCC prides itself on integrating sustainable living into student life. Prep students have a chance to participate in several green school programs that meet anywhere from once a week to once a month.
Sprouts Club offers boys in Grades 2 and 3 the chance to help plant and maintain the Prep Learning Garden in the spring term. The Prep Green team gives boys in Grades 4 and 5 year-long fun and a hands-on way to take “green” action around UCC.
Eco Ambassadors is a leadership group dedicated to the environment for Grade 6 boys that focuses on communicating green messages to the UCC community. Eco Warriors offers Grade 7 students the chance to identify, initiate and implement changes that could make UCC Prep school more sustainable.
