Andy Burgess '83
Andy is a managing partner at Russell Square Partners, an investment firm focused on acquiring small, private companies. He is also on the Board of The Daily Bread Food Bank and Sanctuary. He was formerly co-founder and President of Somerset Entertainment, a public company that produced and distributed specialty music. He and his wife, Beth, have a daughter and two sons, Charlie ’13 and Campbell ’18. He’s been a member of the board since 2006.
Russell Higgins '81
Russell is a principal of MacPherson Builders Limited, a builder of low-rise residential housing projects across southern Ontario. He has previously been a member of the UCC Association Council and is a past chair of the Council of 1829. Russell and his wife June have one son, Simon ’16.
David I. Richardson '59
David is a corporate director, currently serving as chairman of Air Canada and also recently appointed chairman of Nortel Networks Corporation. In the past, he has served as chairman of Ernst & Young Inc. (Canada) and executive partner of Ernst & Young LLP before his retirement in 2002. He and his wife Kathryn have two sons, Andrew ’88 and Matthew ’91, as well as two grandchildren, including Patrick ’21.

Rahul K. Bhardwaj
Rahul is the President & CEO of the Toronto Community Foundation. Formerly a corporate lawyer with a leading Canadian law firm, he was also Vice President of the Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid. Rahul was Chair of the 2012 Ontario Summer Games, the first multi-sport games to be held in Toronto and is currently the Co-Chair of TO2015 IGNITE, a program of the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan Am Games. He is also the Chair of Community Foundations of Canada, Vice-Chair of George Brown College, a member of the Board of Metrolinx as well as Upper Canada College.
Lincoln Caylor '87
Lincoln is a partner with Bennett Jones LLP, where he practises commercial litigation with a focus on fraud. He's chairman of the Barbara A. Barrow Foundation. Prior to being appointed to the board, Lincoln chaired the Joe Cressy Golf Tournament and served on the Boarding Task Force, the Goverance Review Committee and the Long Range Planning Committee. Lincoln received the Harold Roberts Award in 2012. He was also presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to Canada.
He and his wife Melissa have two sons, Jack ’14 and Sam ’16, as well as a daughter, Eliza.
Jill is a former vice-chair of CIBC Retail Markets. She sits on numerous boards, including National Bank, Morneau Shepell, and Penn west. Jill and her husband, Stephen Marshall, have two daughters and a son, John ’15.
Sue is a past chair of the Prep Parents Organization at the Prep School and past president of the Parents' Organization at the Upper School. She has been a member of the Association Council and served as a vice-president. She's a board member at The Massey Centre for Women. Her volunteer work also includes the Art Gallery of Ontario, Human Rights Watch, the Childrens' Book Bank and Mooredale House. Sue and her husband Greg have three sons, Michael '03, Ryan '06 and David '12, and a daughter, Rachael.
Peter MacGowan '77
Peter is a partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon, practising corporate and financing law. He's a member of the UCC Association Council. Peter and his wife, Yvonne Penning, have one son, Skyler '11, and a daughter, Dileas.
Kathy H. Martin
Kathy is a past president of the Parents’ Organization and has been an active volunteer both at the Prep and Upper Schools. She’s also a board member of a small charitable organization, The Children’s Bookbank and Literacy Foundation. Kathy and her husband, Robert B. Martin, have three sons, Richard ’06, Taylor ’08 and Scott ’11.

Jim Garner ‘77
Jim is the executive vice-president of corporate services at The Hospital for Sick Children. Jim’s current involvement at UCC includes his roles as president of the UCC Association, ex officio member of the board of governors, and trustee of the UCC Foundation. He's an active class president and has volunteered at the College on a number of committees and task forces. He and his wife Sally have two daughters.
