Film

UCC has a long tradition of filmmaking.  Our film club, College Film, is composed of a group of young filmmakers that create excellent work. Students from UCC have gone on to make a living as producers, directors and distributors. Documentaries of retiring staff, promotional videos for sports events and
quirky short films about life at UCC (see The Harry and Matt Show on our website) keep our club busy throughout the year.

In September of 2009, UCC launched IB Film. Our first graduating class completed their exams in the spring of 2011 with outstanding results. This year, UCC and Branksome Hall hosted the third annual IB Film festival at the TIFF Bell Light Box. The festival showcases the work of the year's graduates,
giving them a chance to show off their hard work.

Anyone interested in film is welcome to come visit us in our new studio on the second floor of the Creativity Centre. Whether you are interested in making films and would like to use our state of the art equipment, or you just want to relax in our screening area and watch a film from our extensive film collection, we would love for you to come and join our community of storytellers.
